WALT use visualisation strategy to help us understand complex ideas

The visualization strategy is when you create a movie or pictures in your mind to help you remember key facts from what you have read.  We have drawn pictures of they key ideas we have learnt about fossilization, permineralization and how moulds are formed.

I think the visualisation strategy is important when you are reading because it will help you with your reading comprehension and your memory.

  1. Kia Ora Aryan,
It’s great to see you using a different strategy to help understand complex ideas. I do the same thing with my learning, sometimes i will create drawings or brainstorms to help myself understand things I find hard. I have noticed that you have signed up for the Summer Learning Journey but you haven’t posted any of the activities yet. There are a few students in your school that are already working on it! If you wanted to give some of the activities a go you can copy and paste this link into your URL bar to get started https://sites.google.com/site/summerlearningjourney/weekly-activities . This will take you to the weekly activities, you can complete as many activities as you like in any order you like. You can post your learning on your blog so myself and other bloggers can see it.
You can earn four points for every activity you complete and up to ten points for bonus activities! Don’t forget you can also earn points by leaving quality comments on other Summer Learning Journey participants blogs.
If you have any questions, you can reply to my comment :)
I can’t wait to start reading your blogs!
    -Dani
